Diana Ursan is an artistic operator based in Bucharest. She studied at the Art History and Theory Department of the National University of Arts in Bucharest, where she is currently a PhD candidate with a research focused on the local art scene. Diana writes about art, mainly contemporary art, with contributions in Arta and Observator Cultural magazines and in the Dear Money publication, edited by Salonul de proiecte. În 2016 she edited the volume Ștefan Sava – Artist Book / Carte de artist, published by Ivan Gallery, Bucharest. From 2012 until 2016 she was a research assistant for the project VisART – Contemporary Art Conservation, and between 2013-2015 she worked as a curator for AnnArt Gallery, Bucharest. In 2015, Diana was a custodian at the Romanian Pavilion, Venice Biennale, and since April 2015 she has been managing director for Ivan Gallery in Bucharest.
